The Role – PMLD SEN Teacher

The ideal PMLD SEN Teacher will hold QTS and also have at least two years teaching experience in the UK, as well as experience teaching those with special needs or an EHCP. Ideally, you will have previous experience teaching secondary aged pupils with PMLD. This role is based in a SEN secondary school however due to the ability levels of the students that you will be teaching, this role would be suitable for a primary teacher that is willing to teach older students. As a PMLD SEN Teacher, you must have a very adaptive, patient and enthusiastic nature as well as a creative approach to learning as you will be required to tailor your lessons to your student’s individual needs.
