Overview

Are you experienced Assessing apprentices on work experience? Seeking a new role for the new academic year? This may be the role for you!

We are seeking a Plumbing Assessor to support apprentices up to Level 3. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in plumbing education and is committed to helping learners achieve their potential. The successful candidate will need to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car, as the role may require travel to various training locations.

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Location: South London
  • Salary: Up to £40 per hour
Day-to-day of the role
  • Conduct assessments for plumbing apprentices up to Level 3.
  • Provide support and guidance to apprentices, helping them understand course materials and practical applications.
  • Travel to different training sites to meet with apprentices and conduct on-site assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
  • Ensure all training and assessments are conducted in line with industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Plumbing Assessor or similar role.
  • To hold a recognised assessors award e.g - CAVA, TAQA, A1 Award, D33
  • Level 3 in Plumbing or Equivalent
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems and industry standards.
  • Experience supporting apprentices or students in a training capacity.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
