Job summary

A local education authority is seeking an enthusiastic Play worker for Mount Nod Primary to support the day-to-day running of the before and after school club. Overview

Mount Nod Primary is a thriving and vibrant school looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to appoint as a Play worker to support the Play Leader in the day to day running of our before and after school club.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Play Leader in the day to day running of the before and after school club.
  • Assist with planning and organisation of appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 11 years within the agreed framework of procedures.
  • Develop close partnerships with staff, children and parents through excellent communication.
  • Attend staff meetings and training when required.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant Level 2 qualification required.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
  • Undergo an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
  • Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
