Play Club Leader

Up to £29,432 dependent on hours, qualifications, and experience
We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of one of the leading childcare providers in Dorchester! As their new Play Club Leader, you will have control over the teaching of a wide variety of activities to primary school aged children who will attend breakfast clubs, after school clubs, and holiday camps at their nursery / childcare venue, which is easily accessible on road, public transport, and by foot, as it is located a short walk from both Dorchester South and Dorchester West train stations and offers ample parking.
You will be expected to plan programmes and activities effectively within the company structure, monitor progress, inspire children, and deliver fun and engaging sessions at all provisions. You will also need to make sure the resources available to you and your team are used effectively and your team are led well, inspired, and have the tools and support they need to deliver outstanding sessions.
As the manager of these clubs, you will be responsible for leading a team of assistants at your site daily and supporting the transport team with dropping children to their schools after breakfast club and collecting children prior to after school clubs.
In the hours between sessions, you will get to work within the nursery rooms on site, supporting younger age groups and sharing your skills and knowledge with the wider team.
