A leading financial services firm in Milton Keynes is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer / Technical Analyst to join their IT Obsolescence programme. In this role, you will modernize the technology landscape by managing OS upgrades and migrations, ensuring production readiness for changes. Qualifications

• Broad understanding of operating systems, databases, middleware and networking.
• Strong data analytical skills to determine alignment of orphan assets to business areas.
• Experience in production readiness and operational transition for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating OS upgrade, migration and decommissioning activities.
• Supporting application teams with middleware for upgrades and migrations.
• Providing asset discovery and application mapping to support obsolescence planning.
