Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate plastering tools, techniques, and safe working practices to learners of all levels.
  • Support learners throughout the course, offering guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.
  • Assess learner progress through practical observation and basic knowledge checks.
  • Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment in the workshop.
  • Maintain training materials, equipment, and workshop setup to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to support learner success and programme quality.
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong practical experience in plastering (essential).
  • Experience in training, supervising, or mentoring others (desirable but not required).
  • Good communication skills and a supportive, patient approach.
  • Passionate about helping learners gain real, employable skills.
  • Reliable, organised, and confident working in a workshop environment.
Qualifications
  • No teaching qualification required – willingness to complete a Level 3 teaching qualification with us (fully supported).
  • Any existing teaching, assessor, or construction-related qualifications are welcome but not essential.
Why Join Us
  • Be part of a mission‑driven organisation transforming lives through practical training.
  • Opportunity to upskill and gain your teaching qualification while working.
  • Positive, supportive work environment.
