  • A customer‑focused mindset with an eye for detail.
  • You can work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines when required.
  • You have a good understanding of health, safety, and environmental rules in a materials handling environment.
  • You’re flexible and willing to work overtime when needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, servicing, and inspections on a range of material handling equipment (mainly forklifts and similar machinery).

  • Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure the machinery remains in optimal working order.
  • Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Work closely with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organiser work environment.
  • Conduct Service Inspections and Thorough Examinations to GN28 / UKMHA standards.
