Overview

Plant Fitter (Construction / Agriculture) – £36,000 - £40,000 + 2x overtime + ongoing training + Monday to Friday + personal use company vehicle + progression within the company. Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

New and varied role with a leading machinery provider. Electrical training on installing digital GPS systems and cameras, with ongoing routes to progress. Initial focus across the Midlands, including the HS2 site.

Role Context

This company is a leading plant and heavy construction machinery provider with numerous depots around the UK. They have around 25 years of experience and are continually investing in growth.

The role is split between the workshop and field within a Midlands patch with flexible hours, working on a range of construction machinery. You will work within a tight-knit team of engineers, diagnosing and reporting faults and servicing machines.

This position would suit a Plant Fitter with experience working with Agricultural or Construction equipment in a mobile role for a leading company that offers a good working environment and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance
• 80-20 split between the field and workshop
• 42.5-hour weeks, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times
• Covering a Midlands patch

Qualifications

• Plant fitter or similar
• Plant, Agricultural or HGV experience
• UK driver’s license
