Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm (16:00pm finish Fridays)

+ 2 Saturday mornings per month (08:00am–12:00pm as required)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Plant Fitter to join a long‑standing, family‑run business. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand and bring a skilled Plant Fitter into the team.

The position offers a basic salary of £40,000 for experienced candidates, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays and occasional Saturday mornings.

The business is keen on training and regularly funds trips around Europe to suppliers to keep up to date; there is a 6‑month probationary period for this position.

The main duties of a Plant Fitter are:

• Service, maintain, and repair a range of plant machinery.
• Respond to on‑site breakdowns as required.
• Work both independently and within a small, supportive team.
• Use your technical knowledge to diagnose faults efficiently.
• Provide a reliable and professional service when attending customer sites.
• Ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard to support business operations.

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

• NVQ Level 3 Construction Equipment Maintenance Technician or Equivalent
• Full UK Driver's License
• Experience working with Bobcat skid steer loaders (essential).
• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter or similar mechanical role.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Flexibility to travel to sites when required (company vehicle provided if applicable).
