This role is pivotal in ensuring our on-site operations run smoothly by managing plant provision, compliance, and reporting with precision and efficiency.

Role Overview

As Plant Coordinator, you’ll provide essential support to the operational team by overseeing the ordering, costing, and payment processes for plant and equipment. You’ll ensure compliance with statutory requirements, maintain accurate records, and deliver timely reports on plant maintenance, damages, and cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Support & Administration
  • Organise and manage on/off hires and associated documentation.
  • Audit and review plant hire lists to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Compliance & Maintenance
  • Administer service and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure timely resolution of reported defects.
Financial Reporting & Control
  • Raise accurate purchase and hire orders for plant and equipment.
  • Match GRNs to invoices and ensure timely processing.
Internal Reporting
  • Record and report damages and losses to plant.
  • Maintain and audit external plant hire lists.
