Join our team at Keolis Amey Metrolink (KAM) the largest light rail network in the UK!

We are currently recruiting for a Planning Resource and Data Supervisor to join the Engineering & Access Planning team.

You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing track access to the Metrolink system for maintenance construction and third party works. You will produce and maintain the Possession Plan on behalf of the team managing all access and isolation requests for the team in line with planning timescales and authorised activities.

Working under the direction of the Engineering Planning Manager to gather and analyse data review advance race cards with Engineering and Access planners to identify resource needs and support resource rostering.

Key Accountabilities
  • Act as main point of contact with resource delivery partners
  • Identify resource needs sourcing plans and lead times as part of integrated planning
  • Reviewing timesheets & preparing period end reviews
  • Overseeing the continuous updating and accuracy of resource rosters considering the likely availability of resources and skills
  • Liaise with Learning and Development dept to ensure all safety critical competencies remain within timeframes.
  • Record agreements with internal and external parties.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including contractors engineers and other departments
  • Monitor and manage track access requests and permissions resolving conflicting issues related to track access
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders sharing access opportunities created by internal and external works
  • Champion a safety first culture across the Engineering & Access Planning team.

What You’ll Bring
