A public sector organization in Bradford is seeking a Planning Officer to join their Development Services team. The role involves managing major planning applications and contributing to development projects for district regeneration. Candidates need a degree in Town Planning and significant experience in planning management. The position offers £55 per hour Umbrella inside IR35, and immediate engagement is anticipated.
A client within the Public Sector based in West Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Planning Officer to join their Development Services team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a planning and development management environment.
The key purpose of the role is to carry out development management and development project activities, delivering a comprehensive planning service for major development proposals that contribute to the regeneration and sustainability of the district and to the effective delivery of the statutory responsibilities of the local planning authority.
To be considered for this role you will require a degree or diploma in Town Planning (or related subject with post-graduate qualification in Town Planning) along with at least five years’ experience in planning, including three years within development management/development control in the last five years.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £55 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £45 per hour PAYE).
