Planning Manager - E-commerce Fulfilment
Location : Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 remote)
Shift Pattern : 07 : 00 - 15 : 00 Monday to Friday
We're looking for a detail-driven Planning Manager to support a fast-paced e-commerce warehouse operation. This role sits at the heart of performance, ensuring that labour planning, reporting, and operational forecasting are accurate, timely and aligned with the business's fulfilment goals.
You'll work closely with Operations, Recruitment, HR and Finance teams to turn data into clear, actionable insight. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and helping a site run smoothly at scale, this is a great opportunity.
Lead the development, monitoring, and adjustment of daily and weekly labour plans in line with forecasted order volumes and productivity targets.
Own KPI governance across departments, tracking performance against plan and proactively identifying variances, risks, and required interventions.
Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of operational reporting dashboards (productivity, pick rate, cost-to-serve, etc.).
Analyse operational and labour-planning trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure data accuracy and alignment across WMS, time-and-attendance, and all planning documentation.
Provide clear, actionable performance insight to operational leaders, enabling informed planning decisions.
Support wider project activity by providing analysis, modelling, and KPI input as required.
Contribute planning insights and performance metrics to project teams, trials, and improvement initiatives.
Assist in preparing documentation, data packs, and reporting to enable successful delivery of project outcomes.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent Exce skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualisation).
SAP knowledge is preferred but not essential
Experience in a warehouse, logistics or e-commerce environment (preferred).
Confident in presenting data to stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working with multiple data sources and fast-changing information.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
