A leading utilities and construction firm in High Wych seeks an organized Planner to manage operational activities and monitor project progress. You will be the point of contact for operations, ensuring requirements are met and issues resolved. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational and communication skills, have experience in scheduling, and be able to use various IT systems efficiently. This role offers a competitive salary, pension, and benefits including discounts for retailers through an employee programme.
That's why we need people like you. People who appreciate their role in helping others to be successful. Work orders depend on effective planning – and this is your opportunity to be at the very start of the process, mapping out what needs to be achieved. You will liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure requirements and expectations are clearly defined, then translate these into accurate and concise work instructions for our operational teams.

Ideally, you will have experience in a planning or scheduling role within utilities, construction, or a similar sector, along with strong skills in scheduling tools and Gantt management systems. You will remain calm under pressure, adapt plans as circumstances change, and be able to explain complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
In addition to helping you reach your career goals, we offer a competitive salary, pension, healthcare and holiday allowance starting at 24‑26 days per annum. We also provide perks including Clancy Xtras, our employee benefits programme with discounts for numerous well‑known retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Currys PC World and Vue Cinemas, a cycle‑to‑work scheme and an Employee Assistance Programme.
We are an equal‑opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees. If you require any reasonable adjustments to attend an interview, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
What next? Apply, and we will respond within two weeks. If you do not receive feedback within that timescale, feel free to chase us – one of our values is to do what we say we will do!
