Blue legal are working with an international law firm, seeking a Pitch Executive to join its Business Development team. Reporting to the Pitch Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners throughout the full pitch process, from initial go/no-go decisions through to post-pitch feedback. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their expertise in pitches, proposals and the use of AI-driven tools.

The Responsibilities:
  • Writing high-quality pitch content and producing pitch materials, including credentials, RFIs, RFPs and panel submissions, with guidance from the Business Development team as required
  • Advising fee earners on best practice throughout the pitch lifecycle, from initial strategy through to post-pitch follow-up
  • Managing and acting as a super user for BigHand Pitching and Proposals, working closely with the Pitch Manager and Pitch and BD Assistant
  • Maintaining and updating the firm’s pitch repository and standard boilerplate content, ensuring accuracy, consistency and best practice
  • Coordinating with the in-house design team to deliver pitch documents using InDesign to a high standard
  • Conducting and collating relevant research, including market trends, competitor activity and client intelligence, to support business-winning ideas
  • Proofreading and reviewing documents to ensure exceptional quality, attention to detail and consistency of messaging.
The Candidate:
  • Experience of the pitches/bids process, ideally within a legal or wider professional services environment
  • Strong project management, copywriting and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and an enthusiastic, proactive approach
