Recruit4staff are representing a leading engineering services business in their search for a Pipefitter to work in Stalybridge

Job Details :
  • Pay : Up to £23.25 per hour
  • Hours of Work : 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 15:00 Friday
  • Duration : Temporary (Trial 3 weeks – leading to long-term work)
  • Benefits : Overtime available at enhanced rates (£27.90 and £32.55), free parking on-site
Job Role :

The Pipefitter will join a small on‑site team on a chemical production facility, supporting both project and maintenance activities. Responsibilities include site measurement and preparation of pipework, cutting and setting up for welders, bolting spools, valves, and pumps, as well as fabrication and installation of screwed pipe systems. The Pipefitter will interpret drawings and carry out site installations as required.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications :
  • Ability to fabricate and fit pipework
  • Experience in measuring, cutting, prepping and installing pipe systems
  • Installation and maintenance experience in an industrial environment
  • C&G / NVQ in Pipefitting / Fabrication or equivalent
  • CCNSG / SCATS or equivalent safety certification
