Overview
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Pipe Fitter on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
- Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
- Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
- Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
- Perform tests on your work or the work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
- Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework
- Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles
Skills and Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- You have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process
- You have your own transportation or can reliably travel to site

Salary: £19 - £23 per hour
