Job Overview

Its new and exciting times to join us and be part of our fantastic team at our Plymouth hospital! This is a bank position where you will be supporting the physiotherapists in the treatment of patients and, with supervision, will be responsible for working on your own patient caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting any issues to the qualified physiotherapist.
  • Offering advice, guidance and instructions to patients, their families or carers as well as some professionals and trainees.
  • Maintaining health, safety and hygiene aspects in the treatment areas and ensuring physiotherapy equipment is clean, fit for purpose and reporting any issues to the appropriate member of staff.
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Sport Therapy (or equivalent degree) or an undergraduate degree within physiotherapy.
  • Empathetic, a driver of motivation, persuasion and reassurance to aid patients' positivity and treatment.
