A healthcare provider in Greater London seeks a Physiotherapy Assistant to support residents in achieving their best physical condition. In this role, you will work under a Physiotherapist and undertake individualised quality physiotherapy alongside basic administrative duties. Ideal candidates will have NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, demonstrate empathy and a passion for care, and may have experience in neuro-rehab. As a Physiotherapy Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will work under the guidance of the Physiotherapist to make sure our residents get the most of out of life by helping them to reach their best possible physical condition. We’ll look to you to provide individualised quality physiotherapy in line with current and evidence‑based professional practice, as well our company policies.
You will be required to provide basic administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and an efficient service. You are an empathetic and passionate individual with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills who can demonstrate a good knowledge of anatomy and physiology. An interest in the subject field both within and outside the work environment is preferred. Previous experience in a neuro‑rehab environment or similar would be advantageous.

You will need NVQ 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification.
