An excellent opportunityis available for a Physiotherapist to join the innovative team at PrincessAlexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow, Essex. The role involves deliveringongoing care to a diverse patient group, from those who are critically unwellto individuals requiring minimal rehabilitation, assessment, or advice. Youwill be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, treatment, advice,and evaluation for patients referred to the acute inpatient physiotherapyservice. This includes managing complex physical and psychological conditions.This role offers strong support for professional development, helping to buildclinical competencies and leadership skills, and it is based within themedical and care of the elderly teams.
As a vital member of themulti-disciplinary team, you will play an essential role in the smooth andeffective delivery of the Physiotherapy service at Princess Alexandra HospitalNHS Trust. To work closely with the Specialty Team Lead, you will contribute tomaintaining the highest standards of patient care while identifyingopportunities to enhance the service. You will also take part indepartment-wide training initiatives. The role requires a high degree ofautonomy, with responsibility for managing your own caseload and ensuring theseamless transfer of physiotherapy care across defined service areas or patientgroups. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will engage regularlywith patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, you willserve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety, dignity, and a positive careexperience throughout the physiotherapy journey.
Thisrole requires total 18.75 hours per week as below:Mon to Fri, 8.30-12.00 (4 days) & 8.30-13.15 (1 day)
