An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Stamford Unit Intermediate Care Team. This is a permanent, static, full time (37.5 hours per week) position.
The post holder will provide physiotherapy assessments, treatment and advice to adult patients on the intermediate care unit. They will undertake a role in the assessment, diagnosis and formulation of therapy treatment goals as well as advising and treating patients, carers, families and staff of other agencies. The post holder will also provide support within the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) with other therapists, nursing staff, Technical Instructors, Health Care Therapy Assistants, students and other health professionals visiting the unit.
You will need a BSc/MSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy and professional registration with the HCPC, or to be an undergraduate student nearing course completion.
We operate a 7-day service so you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
