Job summary

Maven Group Ltd in Barnsley is seeking HCPC registered Physiotherapists to join as Functional Assessors. The role offers a starting salary of £42,000 per annum, Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, with on-site, hybrid or remote working options and both full-time and part-time patterns.

You will conduct up to five client assessments daily by telephone, video or in person and produce factual reports to support DWP decisions.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered physiotherapist with 1+ year post-registration experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Competent IT and computer skills.

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects your working capability. You'll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
