Job summary

Maven Group Ltd is seeking an HCPC-registered Physiotherapist to join as a Functional Assessor in Bradford. The role involves performing up to five client assessments daily via telephone, video, or in person, and producing factual reports to inform DWP eligibility decisions.

The position offers an excellent starting salary (£42,000pa), standard Mon-Fri hours (9am–5pm), and flexible on-site and hybrid/home-working options. Training and CPD support are provided.

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face‑to‑face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their working capability. You'll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
