Job summary

Maven Group Ltd in Bangor offers a Functional Assessor role with hybrid/onsite elements. The successful physiotherapist will conduct about five assessments daily—telephone, video, or in-person—and draft factual reports to support DWP benefit determinations. The role provides excellent onboarding, CPD support, and HCPC fees paid.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist is required.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Excellent starting salary at £42,000pa
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours
• Full time and part time available (3, 4 or 5 days per week available)
• Bangor based when working on-site

What does the Functional Assessor role involve?

The Functional Assessor role will involve you carrying out 5 client assessments per day. A typical day will see you carry out telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their working capability. You’ll listen to their experiences, ask questions and use your insights to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. That's the good news; the DWP make the final decision, you don't. Your role is to gather information and produce the report.
