Job summary

A leading North West provider of IT solutions is seeking a field-based Service Engineer responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of multifunctional devices including printers and photocopiers. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in this field, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving license. You will be tasked with diagnosing faults, ensuring high fix rates, and managing stock in your service vehicle. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and a customer-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience repairing photocopiers, MFDs, and printers.
• Konica Minolta experience is helpful but not essential.
• Basic IT/networking and print management knowledge is an advantage.

Role

As a field-based Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair, servicing, and maintenance of multifunctional devices including printers and photocopiers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on photocopiers, printers, and multifunction devices (MFDs)
• Aim for high first-time fix rates
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site and remotely
• Keep up with technical training and product updates
• Manage stock in your service vehicle
• Support basic networking and scanning setup on MFDs

About You

• Experience repairing photocopiers, MFDs, and printers (Minimum 2 years)
• Konica Minolta experience helpful (not essential)
• Basic IT/networking and print management knowledge is an advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, honest, and professional
• Full UK driving license required
