A healthcare provider in Bristol is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join their nursing team. The role involves retrieving blood samples, maintaining patient rapport, and ensuring sample integrity. Candidates should possess a valid life support certificate and strong interpersonal skills. The phlebotomist is part of the nursing team responsible for ensuring that the practice provides an optimum service of care to the practice population for Montpelier Health Centre.
The phlebotomist serves patients by identifying the best method for retrieving blood, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, preforming screening procedures and promoting health.

In the performance of the duties outlined in this Job Description, the post-holder may have access to confidential information relating to patients and their carers, Practice staff and other healthcare workers.
