Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC.
  • Commitment to work towards approved pharmacy qualifications.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development relevant to the job role.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fast and effective pharmacy services to the wards and departments.
  • Complete accuracy checking session(s).
  • Undertake medicines reconciliation.

Skills

Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC
Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Education

Approved ward-based qualification for POD checking and Medicines Reconciliation
Approved Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification
Formal training in Supervisory skills
