Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency in Essex seeks an enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician for a patient-facing role in an Acute Hospital. You will contribute to patient care across both outpatient and inpatient pharmacy areas. Essential qualifications include GPhC registration and previous hospital pharmacy experience. This full-time role offers a salary of £17 - £25, depending on experience, with a schedule from Monday to Friday.

  • Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions.

  • Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure legal and professional standards are met in dispensing and supply.

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to support a busy Acute Hospital. This is a patient facing, ongoing role, offering the opportunity to contribute to patient care across both, outpatient and inpatient pharmacy areas. This is a hands on – clinical role requiring a thorough individual, with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions
