A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Aseptic Services team. The role includes supporting the management of aseptic units, assisting in the outsourcing of chemotherapy products, and rotating into the Radiopharmacy department after training. Candidates should possess a Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Services Skills and have at least two years of GMP experience. Weekend and Bank Holiday duties are required, promising a valuable opportunity for professional growth.
Working as a key member of the team alongside the aseptic unit management and Quality Assurance teams you will play a major role in the day to day running and development of the service and provision of safe, effective, injectable medicines for a wide range of patients including premature babies and cancer patients. The post holder will assist in outsourcing of chemotherapy and CIVAS products and will support managing and further developing this service. In addition, the post holder will have the opportunity after training to rotate into our Radiopharmacy department on an ad hoc basis for assisting in the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals. This post has become available at an exciting time for BTHFT, as the technical services team have currently transferred aseptic services from Bradford Royal Infirmary to St Luke's Hospital, and commission a temporary aseptic unit for use, while the planning and development of a new, permanent unit is ongoing. This provides a rare and exciting opportunity for learning and development, supported by an experienced team. The post involves weekend and Bank Holiday rota duties.
We are looking to recruit an experienced highly organised, motivated, enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our friendly Aseptic Services team working in our MS licensed and unlicensed Aseptic Units.
We are keen to meet people who share these values and are passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.
