Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently dispense various types of prescriptions, including controlled drugs and clozapine, using our automated robotic dispensing systems such as a blister pack robot.
• Respond to dispensary supply queries and prepare for medicines deliveries.
• Participate in the seven‑day medicines supply service in line with operating hours.
• Accurately order and supply stock and named‑patient dispensed medicines, including compliance aids and patient information leaflets.
• Follow up any outstanding orders for wards, clinics and service users on a daily basis in line with standard operating procedures.
• Follow up any outstanding items on supplier orders on a daily basis and escalates appropriately.
• Supply clozapine to service users:
  • Dispense clozapine (including utilising compliance aids) in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with patients, the clozapine monitoring service and the clinical team regarding the appropriate supply of clozapine.
  • Receive clozapine blood results.
  • Issue medication to clients at the clozapine clinic.
  • Organise the request and receipt of up‑to‑date clozapine prescriptions.
