A leading NHS Trust located in Colchester is seeking a passionate Pharmacy Clinical Trials Officer to join their Clinical Trial Team. This part-time role involves providing pharmacy clinical trials services and ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in clinical trials and a degree in a relevant field. The position offers a salary ranging from £31,049 to £37,796, along with various training and development opportunities.
A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a passionate, highly motivated, and dynamic Pharmacy Clinical Trials Officer to join the Clinical Trial Team at the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Clinical trials is an integral part of the National Health Service, and everyday clinical trials investigating medicines are being run across the country to develop new treatments for patients. This exciting role will contribute to this invaluable work.
Applicants should have previous experience in clinical trials, and previous exposure to aseptic, oncology or haemato‑oncology would be advantageous. You will be part of a dynamic team consisting of research‑focused Chief Investigators, Principal Investigators, Consultants, Research Nurses, Research Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Quality Assurance Professionals, including Qualified Person, and the wider Research Team, who are always striving for excellence in quality of our work.
You will be responsible for supporting the Clinical Trials team to provide a reliable and efficient pharmacy clinical trials service which meets the needs of our clinical trials patients at ESNEFT and the surrounding areas, sponsors and the many specialist research teams we work closely with across the Trust.
You will also actively engage with the Clinical Trials Pharmacist(s) to build and expand the clinical trials portfolio whilst ensuring compliance with International Conference on Harmonisation of Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), clinical trials regulations, the research governance framework and other relevant guidelines and policies. The post holder will take a leading role in developing and maintaining computer systems related to clinical trials.
