A healthcare provider in Bedford is looking for a GP pharmacy assistant to join their team. This role involves supporting clinical pharmacists and performing administrative duties to ensure patient prescriptions are processed efficiently. Candidates should have strong IT and communication skills, along with experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS. Flexibility for varied hours may be required.

The role will, preferably, be on a full-time basis, although we will consider part-time candidates, depending on experience.Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours, to cover for colleagues.

We are a friendly surgery with a list size of 18,000 patients, over two sites, Wootton Vale, (MK43 9JJ), and branch site Shortstown Surgery, (MK42 0GS). We have good appointment access, which translates to happy patients, and a strong teamwork ethos, that includes an established clinical pharmacy team, GPs, nurses, physician associates, & a clinical liaison team. We are also a Training Practice and currently have GP trainees working with us.
Our practice ethos is to provide traditional levels of patient care and friendliness, through innovation, supported by the latest technology. We work closely with our community partners and with the other GP practices within our primary care network.
