Overview

We are recruiting for a Pharmacist Advanced - Obstetrics & Gynaecology who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an advanced clinical pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Lister Hospital, East & North Hertfordshire Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with either a keen interest and passion, or experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Responsibilities
  • Be the directorate lead pharmacist for Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the East and North Herts NHS Trust. Provide clinical and pharmacy services to all areas within the Maternity Unit and Gynaecology wards.
  • As part of your line management role, you will have the opportunity to select, manage, develop and appraise staff working within the department.
  • Provide evaluated pharmaceutical and financial information to general managers and lead consultants.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice on issues across the organisation, analysing a range of highly complex facts.
  • Support the education and development of other members of staff.
  • Carry out general dispensing and associated clinical and pharmaceutical duties and assist with the provision of the pharmaceutical service to the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
