Job Description
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on healthcare products and prescriptions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards within the pharmacy.
- Manage stock levels and ensure the timely ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Deliver health-related services such as flu vaccinations and medicine use reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prescriptions and pharmacy activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Knowledge of general pharmacy operations and stock management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering healthcare services.
