A local government authority in North East England is seeking a Pest Treatment and Investigation Officer. In this role, you will address pest problems, provide solutions, and enforce regulations to protect residents and public spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience in pest control and hold 5 GCSEs including English. Do you want a role where your work makes a real difference to local communities? We’re looking for a Pest Treatment and Investigation Officer to join our Neighbourhood Protection Service – helping to keep our county clean, safe, and healthy.
In this role, you’ll be the person people turn to when they need help tackling pest problems. You’ll investigate reports, provide practical solutions, deliver pest treatments, and take enforcement action to protect residents, homes, businesses, and public spaces. It’s a job where no two days are the same – you’ll work with a wide range of teams and community partners, from the Neighbourhood Wardens and Anti‑Social Behaviour Officers to Environmental Health and our Empty Homes Team.
