Job Purpose

I am a 10-year-old boy with diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. I love gaming and watching TV. I prefer being outside and do some type of child let physical activities because I have a lot of energy. I would like my Personal Assistant to take part in the activities outside, currently I enjoy swimming and gymnastics. If things change suddenly, I can become angry and distressed. I also may run away. You would therefore need to be able to deescalate tensions and direct me to expend my energy in a positive way.

Summary terms and conditions
  • The rate of pay for this position is £12.38 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: 4 hours fortnightly, on Saturdays. Exact timing will be discussed during the interview.
  • The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  • This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid and Autism.
  • Post is subject to the following.
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
