An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a 46 year‑old man with autism. We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others, ideally someone who enjoys music, as the employer is a musician and has a strong interest in music. The candidate should be willing to help him access the community to socialise and support his day‑to‑day needs. Ideally, this person will be reliable, flexible, encouraging and patient. Knowledge of autism is desirable; however, training is available. A positive attitude, a good work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A driver with a full, clean licence and insurance for work purposes is required.
This is a part‑time position for between 4‑6 hours per week with an hourly rate of £14.00, 5.6 weeks paid annual leave, and a workplace pension scheme. Hours are flexible.
