Personal Assistant

Location: Eastbourne

Employment status: employed

Driver licence required: No

Hours per week: 15–16 hours per week. Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 am–1 pm. I also require cover on Sunday from approx 10 am–2 pm, but this is flexible and can be discussed. There may also be the opportunity for shifts on Saturdays, which can be discussed.

Hourly pay rate: £12.21 per hour

I am looking for a personal assistant to assist my husband. He is a 69‑year‑old male with an acquired brain injury following a heart attack at 46. He has poor mobility and orientation difficulties, has lost his peripheral vision and has limited short‑term memory. He can be verbally challenging, but is good humoured!

Duties include:

• Medication prompting/administering
• Personal grooming
• Other relevant duties as required
• Housekeeping
• Cooking
• Companionship
• Dressing / undressing

Transportation duties – depending on PA driver status

Candidate qualities:
