Job description

Personal assistant required for a young, nonverbal girl in Kirkintilloch. She is a warm easy going and active individual who enjoys going to the park, playing on her iPad and loves books.

A typical day with her might include going for a walk to the local park or swimming pool, playing in the house and reading or watching something.

The ideal match is an active person that will look after and keep her safe, someone who will engage and participate with her when out at activities. We would love someone who will show their own initiative and find things to do.

Personal care is uncommon but might be required.

This role is based in Kirkintilloch, so it’s important you can travel to and from the area reliably.

This is a part-time role of 4 hours a week, with flexibility around how those hours are arranged. Preferably in two 2‑hour sessions or one 4‑hour session per week, either after school or at the weekend.

£15.00 per hour

Experience is a bonus, but not essential. What we’re looking for is someone who is caring and able to support her in a person‑centred way.
