Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience, including late shift, on‑call & weekend allowance)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (part‑time considered)

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Acute Care & Oncology) to join an established pharmacy team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced cancer care and the world’s largest early clinical trials unit. You will deliver high‑quality clinical pharmacy services, supporting oncology and acute care pathways while working within a specialist multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across oncology and acute care.
  • Support the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical pharmacy services.
  • Act as a clinical role model and contribute to the supervision and teaching of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.
  • Support implementation and optimisation of medicine management systems.
  • Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and protocol/guideline implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • BPharm, MPharm, or BSc in Pharmacy.
  • Acute hospital experience required.
  • Experience in oncology and/or acute medicine highly desirable.
  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) desirable.
