Overview

Part Time Practice Nurse urgently required for a Practice in the Milton Keynes area. This role is part time, 28 hours per week, and offers a salary of £33K depending on experience plus additional benefits.

Responsibilities
  • undertake health screening, surveillance, new-patient screens and immunisations
  • assess and care for patients presenting with wounds including the removal of sutures and clips and leg ulcer management
  • undertake cervical cytology screening on those who are eligible in line with national guidelines
  • perform venepuncture and assist with minor surgery
  • have experience with respiratory, cytology, dressings and wound care, along with family planning and pill checks
Qualifications
  • UK registered nurse with significant post-registration experience
  • able to deliver and maintain high standards of nursing care within the clinical areas
  • patient-focused with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
