We're looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Delacy Gardens, Pontefract. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.

About the Role

The post is for 21.00 hours per week. You'll work on a 2-week rolling rota, including:

  • Evening shifts: 15:00 - 22:00
  • Salary 25,583- 25,989 (FTE)
  • Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)

Qualifications and Requirements

To apply, you'll need:

Essential:

  • GCSE Grades D-G in Math and English or
  • Functional Skills Level 1 in Math and English

Desirable (but not required):

  • Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Don't have the Level 2 qualification? We'll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
