As peripatetic General Manager at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment. You will ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care, manage staff, and oversee the financial aspects of the home.

Overview

Your focus as Peripatetic General Manager is to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.

Other responsibilities include ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care, person-centred care based on best practice, and the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the home. You will be the focal point for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents’ wellbeing, ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with occupancy and dependency, provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team, and ensure costs are well managed within budgetary controls by regularly reviewing stock.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents’ wellbeing.
  • Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
  • Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
  • Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
