Join Our People Partnering and Advisory Team!
Are you passionate about delivering high-quality people support and advice? We’re looking for a proactive People Partner to work closely with leaders across the University, providing expert guidance on employee relations, organisational development, recruitment, well‑being, and more. You’ll be part of a dynamic matrix team aligned to a School/Faculty Hub or Professional Services, collaborating closely with colleagues across People Operations and Centres of Excellence to deliver an outstanding People service.

As a People Partner you will advise on complex employment matters (including grievance, disciplinary, and performance management), support strategic and change initiatives, contribute to policy and process development, and promote an inclusive culture aligned with University values.

Flexible Working
  • We will consider applications for employment on a part‑time or other flexible working basis (e.g. job share), despite the position being advertised as full‑time.
About You

You’ll be a qualified People professional with degree‑level education and Level 5 CIPD membership. You’ll bring expert knowledge in employment law and policy, offering clear, practical advice at all levels. You’ll have proven ability to confidently manage high volumes of complex queries and cases, driving early resolution and delivering consistent, high‑quality support. A skilled communicator and collaborator, you’ll build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and work effectively across teams. You’ll identify and resolve process inefficiencies, interpret and present sensitive data, and contribute to a seamless People Partnering service. Your exceptional organisational skills and proficiency in People systems will help you deliver impactful, tech‑enabled solutions.
