People Operations Manager
Multi‑Site Retail Business

We’re supporting a large, fast‑paced multi‑site retail organisation to appoint an experienced People Operations Manager to lead its People Services function.

This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑quality, customer‑focused people operations across recruitment and onboarding, employee lifecycle, payroll, reward and benefits, and people data.

You will act as the business owner of the HRIS across the organisation, working closely with digital and systems partners to optimise the platform, improve processes, drive efficiencies and deliver meaningful people metrics and insights.

Key focus areas include :
  • Leading and developing high‑performing people operations teams
  • Ensuring strong governance, data integrity and legislative compliance
  • Driving continuous improvement through KPIs, SLAs and MI
  • Managing third‑party providers and agency / neutral vendor arrangements

Ideal candidates will have experience leading HR or People Operations in a high‑volume, multi‑site environment (retail, hospitality or similar), with strong systems, payroll and operational leadership capability.
