Job summary

A healthcare company in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced People & Culture Officer to support managers and employees in promoting values that allow individuals to thrive. Responsibilities include advising on HR issues, overseeing onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with employment and immigration law. The ideal candidate will have strong HR experience and be CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it. This role requires travel to various sites, hence a driving license is essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong HR experience in a similar role.
  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Robust IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, recruitment and selection.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to managers and employees on absence, health and wellbeing.
  • Oversee onboarding processes of allocated homes.
  • Complete employment documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to company rules.

Skills

Strong HR experience in a similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Robust IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, recruitment and selection

Education

CIPD Level 5 or working towards it
HR/business/administration-related qualification
