Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in HR, ideally as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
  • Retail experience, ideally within a small or standalone HR function.
  • Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across office and retail functions.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including contracts, offboarding and policy updates.
  • Coach managers to build strong people management capability.

CIPD Level 5 or above

Based in Hammersmith, London

Hybrid Role (1-2 days in the office)

A fast-growing, award‑winning luxury fashion brand based in London is seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join the business during an exciting phase of growth. This is a broad, hands‑on role offering real ownership across the full employee lifecycle, partnering closely with leaders to deliver a strong people agenda, support business growth and create an engaging, high‑performance culture.

Key Responsibilities for the People Business Partner
Talent & Onboarding
  • Lead end‑to‑end recruitment across office and retail functions.
  • Partner with managers on hiring needs and workforce planning.
  • Deliver a compliant, values‑led onboarding experience.
People Operations & ER
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including contracts, offboarding and policy updates.
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers on HR and employee relations matters.
  • Provide fair, consistent case management and practical advice.
Business Partnering & Performance
  • Coach managers to build strong people management capability.
  • Support performance reviews, feedback and development planning.
  • Contribute to succession planning and career development.
HR Systems, Payroll & Projects
  • Maintain accurate HRIS (HiBob) and payroll data, working with external providers.
  • Produce people insights to support decision‑making.
  • Support engagement initiatives, internal communications and people projects.
Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years' experience in HR, ideally as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
  • CIPD Level 5 or above.
  • Retail experience, ideally within a small or standalone HR function.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Organised, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and people data (HiBob preferred).
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
