Pensions - Benefit & Data Correction Lead

Do you have the skills needed to lead complex data and calculation remediation projects? Do you have technical pension knowledge, and the ability to manage stakeholders?

We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices.

What the day will look like
  • Carry out and/or review bespoke data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements.
  • Ask the right questions to gain an understanding of complex processes, then use this to plan/design solutions.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including consultant, administrators, and specialists, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions.
  • Help devise strategies for carrying out the required data work within the contractual timescales.
  • Developing others in the team.
  • Leading or inputting into process improvement activities.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Have experience in leading data manipulation, calculation rectification, and transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with ability to create, amend, and review models.
  • An understanding of UK pension schemes with knowledge of how individual member calculations are performed, and experience of delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects.
  • Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.
