Qualifications

  • Registered Speech & Language Therapist with experience working with infants and young people with hearing losses.
  • Experience with cochlear and other hearing implant rehabilitation is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and evaluate care as a specialist clinician within the hearing rehabilitation team.
  • Assess patients’ suitability for a hearing implant and support them throughout the rehabilitation journey.
  • Provide training and supervision for other staff and students.
  • Contribute to maintaining and developing pathways of care.
  • Participate in research and audit activity.
