We are supporting a forward-thinking secondary school in Peterborough with modern sports facilities and a thriving sixth‑form provision. They are seeking a passionate PE Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This is a fantastic temp opportunity for a dedicated teacher looking to develop within a supportive and well‑resourced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Physical Education across KS3, KS4, and KS5, including A‑Level PE.
  • Deliver high‑energy, inclusive lessons that inspire engagement and promote healthy lifestyles.
  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress, ensuring high standards across all key stages.
  • Contribute to the school s wider sports programme, including clubs, fixtures, and events.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management and a positive, motivating learning environment.
  • Support pastoral duties and attend department meetings, parent evenings, and whole‑school events.
Requirements
  • Experience teaching PE up to A‑Level is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 KS5 PE curriculum.
  • Ability to lead or support extracurricular sports teams and events.
  • Confident classroom and practical lesson management skills.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and team‑working abilities.
  • A passion for sport, fitness, and student development.
